2PM
For K-pop fans, masculine idols Wooyoung, Chansung, Junho, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, and Jun.K are a refreshing break from the sea of pretty-boy groups on the scene today. Known as Korea’s ‘beastly idols,’ 2PM boasts a manlier, more powerful image, bolstered by their dancing and acrobatic skills (as well as their chocolate abs, good looks, and fiery charisma onstage).
Five years, two studio albums, an EP and three single albums into their career, 2PM has quite a few hits under their belt. Need a crash course on 2PM’s style? Must-hear tracks include their high-energy debut single “10 Points Out of 10,” their zombie-fied, broody single “Heartbeat,” their shuffling-before-it-was-cool single “I’ll Be Back,” and their devil-may-care party single “Hands Up.”
Managed by JYP management, 2PM is the dance/pop half of the agency’s joint group One Day. 2AM handles the ballads.
