The Brazilian artist, Amon Tobin (first known as Cujo) is an electronic DJ/producer signed with Ninja Tune Records. Tobin has released seven major studio albums since his 1996 EP debut Curfew. During the early years of his career he was heavy into jazz sounds. Soon Tobin began using samplers, field recordings, and incorporating a wide range of genres into his sound. Later in his career, Tobin wrote music for films, and began to DJ, spinning his music in dance clubs and attracting huge crowds.
The epic design wiz is known for manipulating sounds and constantly exploring different styles. Tobin has performed around the world and is famous for his impressive audio/visuals he uses at his live performances, such as 3-D art installation and visual projection mapping.
