Gods Robots
Gods Robots’ feel is electric and transcontinental. The duo’s roots stretch from the Bay Area to Mumbai. Producer Janaka Selekta and vocalist Taamara collaborated solely through Skype sessions and emails for six months before meeting face to face. Distance didn’t affect the reputation that they built online and in print — they garnered thousands upon thousands of fans for their debut EP Stormy Weather, along with plenty of mentions from Rolling Stone India. So what’s the buzz about? A giant melting pot of Selekta’s San Francisco-grown electro and dubstep-laden production coupled with Taamara’s trademark classical vocal trills from her hometown of Mumbai, India. The best of both worlds has never been better!
