Simian Mobile Disco (James Ford and Jas Shaw) is a electronic music duo and production team who paired up after their college band, Simian, broke up. Not longer after, they debuted their first album, Attack Decay, in 2007, and made mainstream ripples with their sexy single “Hustler.” Thank you London (and #bandsplitups) for this dual purpose duo, who has provided our ears with not only plenty of original beats but also an array of remixes, featuring the likes of Florence and The Machine and Arctic Monkeys. They’ve released three studio albums, including their latest in eclectic beatmaking and norm-rejecting, Unpatterns.
