The Bloody Beetroots

Formed in late 2006 by producer Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo, The Bloody Beetroots is an Italian electro house and dance-punk fusion solo act. Clad in an opaque venom mask on stage, The Bloody Beetroots has collaborated on DJ sets with Tommy Tea, and features the likes of Tommy Lee on vocals for his live band performances, called Bloody Beatroots and Death Crew 77. Rifo first tasted success in 2008, when the EP Cornelius charted on the Top 100 International iTunes downloads. This led to a U.S. tour alongside fellow house legend DJ Steve Aoki.

If you haven’t heard Bloody Beetroots at a live set, you might have heard him on your couch: in 2008, his song “Butter” was added to the soundtrack for FIFA ’09, while “Mac Mac” was featured on 2K Sports’ NBA 2K9, and his Goose remix of “Black Gloves” is on the soundtrack of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012.
