When Torgny Amdam quit his hardcore punk band Amulet, the Oslo-based musician turned rather abruptly to lo-fi electropop. Chameleon Days, his debut album as Torgny, is a personal document composed of bittersweet synth melodies and fragile vocals. The tender tunes lent themselves beautifully to the trilogy of documentary music videos he made about Norwegian youth with his friend Emil Trier.
