Nine is the magic number for Star Empire Entertainment’s top boyband, ZE:A (aka Children of Empire). Famous for their catchy singles and vibrant personalities of the members, the group has been pumping out sleeper hit singles since 2010—the tracks may not officially chart very high, but everyone knows them.
ZE:A’s style tends to stay consistently in the dance/pop zone, with occasional forays into ballad and fusion genres like post-disco. To get a good sampling of their groove, check out these must-hear tracks: “Mazeltov,” “Here I Am,” “Aftermath,” and “Phoenix.”
In 2013, a five-member sub group ZE:A5 (ZE:A Five) consisting of Dongjun, Hyungsik, Kevin, Minwoo and Siwan debuted in Japan and South Korea with ballad track “She’s Gone” and pop track “The Day We Broke Up” respectively.
