Technically skilled, prominent guitar has fallen to the wayside in music in the past few decades, but when a Brisbane band like Last Dinosaurs garners MTV Iggy’s Artist of the Week title, my hope is revived. (Well, that and the 10 artists on this guitar list.) Their album In A Million Years is fraught with high-energy, high-brow strumming and feel-good indie rock vibery reminiscent of Two Door Cinema Club and Male Bonding.
