It was a tight race all the way but Rio de Janeiro bass producer Leo Justi is the man of the hour and MTV Iggy’s Artist of the Week! Congratulations Leo! Parabéns!

Rooted in the Brazilian ghetto beats he grew up with Justi has forged a micro-genre all his own. He’s coined it “heavy baile” and it’s the toast of the global bass community. Judging by his support in our poll, that’s very powerful constituency indeed.
