Congratulations to Erphaan Alves for outright slaughtering MTV Iggy’s Artist of the Week!

At just 20-years-old, Trinidad’s Alves has already been crowned a finalist of the Junior Soca Monarch competition, he’s burned up the radio, and he’s written songs for other soca artists — all while keeping up his music studies.

Throughout his short career, Erphaan has apparently built a rabid fanbase who rallied for him all last week in MTV Iggy’s Artist of the Week.
