Estonian’s chillest Electro Rocker Bad@ss Yuki

Bad@ss Yuki describe themselves as “two dorks and an underaged drummer suffering from narcolepsy.” That sort of self-deprecating humor is a part of their charm and complements their loose-limbed and deadpan indie rock. The band never seems to break a sweat, but even on their recently released album Black Apple Trip, they pack in enough irresistible rhythm and general rock ‘n’ roll to get a good sized crowd bouncing up and down.
The ageless Glasgow sounds of Dema

Yeah, Glasgow parties. And that party factor is driven by bass heavy music a lot like what Dema used to spin at the Glasgow School of Art in a duo called The Freakmenoovers. As a solo artist, Dema carries on the tradition. He’s a sought after club DJ for the simple fact that he gets girls on the dancefloor. Girls on the dancefloor get guys on the dancefloor. Dema’s music plus girls and guys together on the dancefloor equals crazy good time. It’s simple math, really. Check out some of Dema’s mixes at Luckyme.
Scotland’s synthy rockers, American Men

American Men = Scottish boys. Four of them, to be specific. This is what happens when a perfectly functioning rock band goes full out synthesizer. There are a lot of epic melodies and big time drum fills in American Men’s music. The band released their debut Cool World EP last year and since then the band has… well, who the hell knows. Though they’re consistently uploading really awesome tracks to their Soundcloud page, the band has made it nearly impossible to find information on them anywhere on the internet. Seriously, try doing a search for “American Men” and see what you come up with.
Indonesia’s versatile post-rockers The Trees and the Wild
Ever have trouble deciding if it’s a lo-fi indie pop kind of day or an epic post-rock kind of day? That’s probably what happened to the three guys in Indonesia’s The Trees and the Wild. They couldn’t decide, so they went with “both” and ended up starting an insanely good band. They’ve been called alternative folk and post rock, but they aren’t either of those things, though their music incorporates elements of both. They’re able to bridge the gap between rock and acoustic music in a way that hasn’t quite been done before.
America’s own avant hip hopper, Tunde Olaniran

Avant hip hop savant Tunde Olaniran clearly doesn’t believe in going easy on people when it comes to introducing himself to the world. His single “Cobra” for instance is a bomb of hyper-modern beats, heavy bass and crazy-intense emotional lyrics. It’s a lot to handle. We’re not saying he just appeared on the scene. He’s got albums out, he’s toured Europe, performed with Ebony Bones and been involved in myriad musical projects. It’s just that, from what we hear of the multi-media event/album that “Cobra” pertains to, we have a feeling he’s ready to have that certain effect on a whole lot more people.
