In the new video for Bat for Lashes’ “A Wall,” off her recently released album The Haunted Man, Natasha Khan parties (and struggles) with a troubled beau. He’s probably worth the trouble. They do make an adorable pair in their half-arsed disguises.

So, is Khan using the chaos and concealed identities of the costume party as a metaphor for the challenging complexities of modern relationships? Or is it just another (fabulously shot and emotionally charged) Saturday night? Maybe it’s a bit of both.
