Brooklyn Pop Trio My M.O. Does Things Their Way

Brooklyn-based synthpop trio My M.O. just has their own way of doing things. In the music video for their dreamy, abstracted song “Monkey” they went in for a group marriage.

In their latest video for the track “Bonfire Man” they settle a labor dispute by beating up their boss, stealing his van, and running away to found a Utopian community in the woods. They just do things differently, that’s all.

The only fire in the video is the one they build in the forest, but with a catchy Toro y Moi-type jam like “Bonfire Man,” these three ladies could well set the world on fire. Look for the song on their upcoming sophomore EP Bonfire in June.

Well, they say the EP is out in June, but if you really want it (yes.) you can download it for free right now. See. Different.
