Every home and office should include a room where you can smash things to bits once in awhile. It would reduce stress, irritability, and our desire to attack one another violently.

Well, China is ahead of the curve. In a room labeled “Women Only” in a Shenyang mall, female shoppers can come in and beat the crap out of TVs, cell phones and various junk items with baseball bats. Patrons can also tear paper or throw things, said People’s Daily Online. The idea is that, if women feel at home in the room now, they’ll want to buy kitchenware when it’s developed into an actual store.

I don’t know about you, but beating things into bits doesn’t make me want to buy blenders. It makes me want to beat more things into bits, including blenders.

But China has plenty to vent about this week. Singer Hankyung is leaving Korean juggernaut record company SM Entertainment due to their oppressive 13-year contract with no sick days. And of course, there are dogs turning into pandas. Everyone should be grabbing a bat!
