On the Facebook, Macy Gray calls it a “Listening Party.” And this week’s party looks fun!

Once a week, the LA-based singer songwriter with the distinctive set of pipes shares the camera with an upcoming talent and broadcasts their set to the world. Previous guests include MTV Iggy fave Nylon Pink. This time around she’s chosen none other than our very own Dawen!

Dawen’s been blogging for us on pit stops from Hong Kong to New York on his world tour. (Check out his awesome entries here.)

This Thursday, he’ll be speaking with you more directly — responding to your tweets on a live twitter stream on UStream, where the show will be broadcast live. He wrote us with more details:

Hey folks! I’ll be playing LIVE with Macy Gray this Thursday, March 11 at 7pm/PST! I can hardly believe it, it seems so unreal!  We’ll be streaming live on the web on U-Stream so be sure to tune in and check us out wherever you are.  I’ll be singing some songs for Macy and asking her all sorts of cool questions!
