Even if you have no interest in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse craze, you have to admit, the producers sure know how to pick a soundtrack!
We’ve already showed you the album’s tracklist, and how Twilight producers pick soundtrack artists, so now that the movie and soundtrack are released, here are some of the music highlights!
You can hear samplings of the entire soundtrack here.
Fanfarlo!
UK pop folk sensation Fanfarlo graces the soundtrack with a lovely, dreamy folk pop track”Atlas.” Its sweet harmonies don’t exactly conjure a bloodsucking image, so maybe it’s reserved for a love scene…or the credits? Check out our exclusive interview with Fanfarlo, where the band describes a totally female naughty fan of theirs.
Metric!
The USA rockers Metric have reached megastar status around the globe, and their no-holds-barred live shows certainly live up to their status. We’ve reviewed them ourselves! Check out our review of Metric’s performance at SXSW this year! They’re throwing down the first track on the Eclipse soundtrack, which is appropriately titled “Eclipse (All Yours).”
Black Keys!

One of Iggy’s Faves, Black Keys will be featured on the soundtrack with their signature rock soul blues sound. Their track “Chop and Change” is a fun, gritty tune that could add some serious drama to a werewolf chase scene!
Bombay Bicycle Club!

They may not be from Bombay, nor are they bike jocks, but this UK rock band is still one of our top 25 favorite bands of all time. They landed on the deluxe edition of the Twilight soundtrack after producers had already published their tracklist. I guess producers realized they totally goofed by not including them. Bombay Bicycle Club’s pretty, epic rock song “How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep” could totally rock a vampire underworld.
Muse!
We’ve reviewed UK rock band Muse’s concerts, which definitely live up to their theatrical, epic, hard rock music. The band is the only one to make it on both Twilight movie soundtracks! They stuck to their thrashy, heavy rock roots in their soundtrack tune “Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever).”
