DJ Vadim is set to release his sixth solo album, Don’t Be Scared this October. Get ready. While the idea for Don’t Be Scared originated from jam sessions in New Zealand, DJ Vadim took the idea one step further, and went global. From Germany he brought Flako, from England he brought Michael Kiwanaka, and he went to Hawaii to include Karen Be. Somehow, Vadim managed to find room for Jamie Fox.
DJ Vadim is known for his prolific fusion of sounds and genres, including electronic, hip-hop, soul, and reggae. He was nominated for a Grammy in 2002, and is often referred to as the ‘founding father of beat’. Look out for his global effort in the fall.
