Brisbane native Emma Louise is no stranger to attention. In the span of one year, her pop-folk freshman EP Full Hearts and Empty Rooms earned the Aussie songstress multiple awards and the chart-topping single ”Jungle.” While some artists ride their initial success and release rushed, subpar second projects, Louise has chosen to defy the sophomore slump. After taking time off in New York to reassess her sound, she’s finally ready to introduce the world to her brand new indie-folk baby: vs Head vs Heart, her new EP set to release May 21st.
The fresh young talent has announced a series of mini-tour dates for the month of March, where she’ll sweep the Big Apple, California, Texas and Canada. Scroll down for show dates below.
If Louise’s sophomore single “Boy”, released last June, is any indication of how deliciously wistful the other ten title tracks will be, another chart-topping EP is but a release date away.
