If you’ve ever passed the time making fun of, poking, or eating turtles, you will definitely quit after you watch this video.

Israel’s Eatliz is a favorite for MTV Buzzworthy, and the band’s turtle-friendly vid for “Lose This Child” also got Iggy on board. It’s a stop motion tale of a turtle made of sand. Somehow this creature is obscenely adorable, and it’s trying understand the universe.

As it turns out, the universe is vast, beautiful, and cruel as hell.

The painful bummer of a video is made even sadder by the track. “Lose This Child” is some heady, spooky prog rock off their new album Teasing Nature. It has an ever-so-slight Eastern folk twang on the melodies and acoustics in the verses. The chorus is really just a chance for the lead songstress Lee Triffon to show off those heart-wrenching high notes.

It’s a beautiful song. With a very beautiful video. Now watch it, sob, and stay away from turtles, you sickos!!
