The Yellow Dogs have made a ton of headway since they left Tehran for Brooklyn a few years back. No longer living in fear of arrest for hosting rock shows, they’ve since opened for Black Lips, become bona fide New Yorkers, and dropped their sophomore EP Upper Class Complexity on April 10.

The Yellow Dogs have been chosen as an eMusic Selects band, an honor granted to up-and-coming, unsigned groups with huge potential — like Best Coast during their debuting days. To celebrate, eMusic sent us this exclusive video of the Yellow Dogs telling their story, all set to a scenic Brooklyn Bridge background.
