Fancy Philanthropy: Swedish House Mafia To Throw Black Tie Sandy Benefit

By Lauren Zupkus | December 11, 2012

EDM supergroup Swedish House Mafia is feeling the love and paying it forward big time. After their recent smash “Don’t You Worry Child,” reached Gold in the U.S. and snagged a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording, the house DJs are throwing on their black ties and then throwing down for a Hurricane Sandy Relief rave. 100% of proceeds will go to The Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund, which provide food, cleaning materials and hygeine supplies as well as long-term relief and restoration to hurricane victims. It’s all going down at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York on February 28th, with general admission starting at $100.00 bid. Click for more info on tickets, the rave, and the charity here. And of course, feel free to get hype on this teaser:
