Hear Moby’s Multiple Covers of Simpsons Jingle “Mr. Plow” for the Show’s 20th Anniversary

If you thought of New York-based techno wunderkind Moby as pretentious, think again. The austere vegan may own a line of organic teas, but he has his own penchant for ludicrous American culture, as you can see by his latest project.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the satirical American cartoon, Moby churned out six covers — all in different styles — of his favorite Simpsons’ jingle, “Mr. Plow.” The song aired in the episode in which Homer starts a family business, and to jog your memory we’ve clipped the jingle.

In the documentary The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: In 3-D! On Ice!, which tracks the cultish fame of the yellow American family around the world, Moby admits he’s been obsessed with the jingle for decades.
You can also hear Moby’s bossa nova, electro, Latin lounge, psychedelic and punk rock remixes of the song. (The punk rock remix is our very favorite.)
