Brooklyn lo-fi duo Sunny Ali and the Kid slipped us a totally new version of “The Bug,” a track that originally appeared as a ukulele ditty on their debut EP Kids. Not Kids anymore, this new one has grown a burly beard of guitar fuzz and a grumpy back beat.

The revamp fits in better with the pair’s hairier new material, like the Two Girls One Gun EP, which features a similarly bulked-up version of “Two Girls” from Kids. Hairier still is the recent single “Chai.” Check the video:
