Hot on the heels of releasing an EP of debut single “Hangover (Bababa)” remixes just yesterday, Buraka Som Sistema has started streaming a second cut from their forthcoming LP Komba–which is named after an Angolan funeral ritual–titled “(We Stay) Up All Night [ft. Blaya & Roses Gabor]“. The thumping track about all-night revelry (out October 17) features BSS live show vet Blaya rapping in a paced, M.I.A-like style over a bewitching synthy melody. Its otherworldly vibe befits the sophomore album’s motif.
The Lisbon-based foursome has also announced a string of dates in South America and California for the first half of October.
