Monterrey, Mexico’s avant-pop party animals Quiero Club have just dropped a party starting remix EP of their new single “Que Hacer en Caso de Oir Voces.”

It features the creative remixing talents of Mexico’s Disco Ruido and dapuntobeat, among others, re-imagining the new wave dance track. No DJ can resist drama-filled vocals and a sassy ’80s sax sample. Some remixes take the retro track in a more modern electro direction. Others go back for a disco house kind of feel.

The track is packed with patently irresistible drama. Like, Depeche Mode and David-Bowie-in-the-’80s levels of drama. It may be three years since the release of their album Nueva América, but it seems they’ve still got all the energy and imagination that has made them heroes of the Monterrey music scene.
