I see a blimp and I think — beer ad over baseball stadium. Or maybe I think “Collossal failure” (you know, thanks to that whole Hindenburg muck up). But Coachella hipsters strung out over the lawns of Indio California looked up to see a blimp announcing details on M.I.A.‘s upcoming album.
A trailing tape, attached to the blimp, promoted her upcoming appearances at Hard Fest in LA and New York as well as announced the release date for her new album — now “6.29.10.”
Wow, that’s hardcore PR. It reminds me of the time 2PM fans took to the skies…
Hard Fest is set for July 17 in LA and the 24th in New York. She’s set to perform there alongside MTV IGGY Favorite Sleigh Bells and Die Antwoord.
