Miguel’s New Music Video: “Arch & Point”

The Slowjam Master Goes Neon, Keeps Hot Dancers

By Suyeon Kim | March 30, 2012

R&B crooner Miguel made us stop short with his newest video, for “Arch & Point.” The song, which sounds like En Vogue meets Sleigh Bells, gets the neon treatment: Miguel wears a blue triangle painted over his right cheek, while flourescent geometric shapes float across the screen, along with slo-mo explosions and light bursts. The graphics are visually stunning, but no video would do the lustful song justice without buxom video dancers, of which there are two, who take the song title literally in satin lingerie and fishnets.

Enjoy the slowjam ballet and the novel hotness of Miguel’s arena rock attitude:

With distorted guitar riffs, “Arch and Point” is an 80s-tastic sonic departure for the singer. The song is off his latest EP Art Chic Dealer vol. 2, which is available for free download.
