It might seem a little early for Christmas but the holidays creep up sooner than you think and Etoro Records is getting ready. They’re preparing their Navidades con Etoro Christmas compilation for Dec. 16, the beginning of novenas. In label owner and producer Isa GT’s native Colombia, that date kicks off a week of parties with family and friends leading up to Christmas on Dec. 24.

Navidades con Etoro is made with those festivities in mind so it won’t be your usual Christmas album, i.e. there will be no washed-up indie bands covering “Away in a Manger.” Last year’s party rocking compilation featured tracks from Etoro’ fam and friends only, but this year it’s an open house and you, Iggy readers, are invited to submit your music.

All you have to do is drop your upbeat party jam in Etoro’s Soundcloud box by Oct. 29. You can also submit MP3s to etororecords@gmail.com. Tell ‘em we sent ya. Just remember: it has to be an original tune with no identifiable samples. And keep it positive. This is music for celebration!
