For Simian Mobile Disco’s new “Put Your Hands Together” music video, they’ve exploited the weird charisma of slowly moving geometric forms on a black screen. It’s like watching Auto Cad, and yet strangely arresting over the propulsive track. Starting with a spinning cube in primary colors and ending up with many cubes and circles in many colors, it’s like taking a pleasure cruise through Tron. “Put Your Hands Together” is out May 15 on Simian Mobile Disco’s latest album Unpatterns, currently available on pre-order.
