SISTAR Releases MV for “LOVING U”

SISTAR Releases MV for “LOVING U”

Jealous? Us? No… We’re definitely not jealous of SISTAR’s trip to Hawaii to film the MV for their new single “LOVING U.” That would be silly. They were on the islands to work, not to play in the sand, surf, sightsee, go on road trips, sunbathe… Oh

SISTAR’s Summer Special Album dropped today with five remixes of past hits as well as two new tracks. And here’s the MV that’s kind of got us green-eyed.

SISTAR – “LOVING U” MV

The tropical Hawaiian music video looks like a vacation— a humongous video that was fun to shoot. But fun in the sun apparently costs quite a bit these days.  A representative from Starship Entertainment commented, “SISTAR’s summer special album ‘Loving U’s music video was shot overseas in Hawaii, and including the planes and famous models that were brought in, the music video will be one on a large scale costing about 200 million Won (about $172,000 USD).” (via OSEN)

Behind Summer Special Album‘s catchy lead track were One Way‘s leader, Chance, and Park Jang Geun, aka the producing team Double Sidekick (stylized Duble Sidekick). Don’t recognize the name? The duo has worked with MBLAQ, B1A4, 2PM, Super Junior, Baek Ji YoungNS Yoon-ji, and many other artists in the past, so chances are, you’ve definitely heard some of their songs. Not only is Double Sidekick involved in SISTAR’s album, they’re also producing songs for the upcoming comebacks of  ZE:A, Kim Tae Woo, Jewelry and B.A.P.
