Starship Entertainment announced on July 9 that SISTAR will perform their first solo concert this fall. It’s nice to see hard work pay off for the foursome, who  rose steadily through the idol group ranks since their debut in 2010. A live performance is the icing on the cake.

Past singles like “Shady Girl,” “How Dare You,” “Ma Boy” and “So Cool” did well enough in the charts for a rookie girl group, but SISTAR’s popularity really skyrocketed after their spring 2012 mega hit “Alone” hit the airwaves. “Alone” defended its position at the top of online music charts for nearly four months, and now their latest track, “Loving U,” is currently holding its own against chart all-kill machines like 2NE1, the Wonder Girls and T-ARA.

SISTAR’s concert will be held at the Seoul Olympic Hall this coming September.
