Throwback Thursday: Recollection GRM Unearths French Electronic from 50′s-Current

Calling all electro-nerds!

GRM was a pioneering Parisian label founded in the 50s, and was a home for musique concréte, electro-acoustic and electronic music. Now, the long-buried (or at least super-expensive-and-hard-to-find) records from the label are being re-issued on the sub-label Recollection GRM.

Unfortunately they don’t offer any stream, but you can check, buy, or download the releases here , and you can stream samples of some of the releases on Amazon, such as Beatriz Ferreyra’s “L’Orvietan,” on the first Recollection release Traces. It’s some heady stuff.
