The whole “live acoustic video shot in a cool location on nice DSRL camera” thing has been blowing up in music-land over the last few years, but few do it better than Little Dragon. The Swedish sensations set up shop in a Cape Town township by the name of Baden Powellville (which, I’m hoping is named after the Brazilian guitarist and not the 19th century British mathematician) to perform a rendition of their “Little Man,” off Ritual Union. The group recreates the song at near studio-quality with an acoustic bass guitar, marimba, hand-held synthesizer and egg shaker. Check it out here:
