One of the three largest record labels in Korea, YG Entertainment was started by former Seo Taiji and Boys member, Yang Hyun Suk (Yang Goon) in 1996. Since then, YG Ent. produced an astonishing series of hit-makers such as Jinusean, 1TYM, Se7en, Gummy, Big MaMa, Big Bang, and most recently, 2NE1. Also known as YG Family, the company's roster includes talented singers, producers, lyricists, and a strong PR team...all collaborate to create the hugely successful and instantly catchy hits that define the best of K-Pop.
