A Classic Education came from Bologna, Italy to shower baroque indie pop on the CMJ attendees at The Delancey on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

The set was surprisingly energetic for a chamber pop act and there were times when melody gave way to terrific chaos and a more rock ‘n’ roll sensibility. Keyboards, guitar, amplified violin, bass, drums, and a theremin made for a set that could be lovely and delicate or crashing and bold.
