Kinky’s hot electro-rock makes us sweat, so appropriate that when they stepped onstage at pop-up venue The Spot a few weeks back, the room was sweltering. But the heat just drove the boys from Monterrey into a raging musical explosion. Frontman Gil Cerezo sang with so much passion his neck veins almost burst, and with keyboardist Carlo Chairez manning an accordion like the truest norteno player, the evening flew by in a steamy blur.

MTV Iggy was psyched to catch Kinky this time around, since they haven’t played in NYC for over a year! But the show was so much fun, it was like they’d never been away  – check out the beautiful reunion photos for yourself!
