Three perfect words to describe British artist Patrick Wolf’s performance at Le Poisson Rouge this past Sunday: passionate, talented, and vibrant. He performed his songs with a plethora of acoustic instruments, an alteration on his usual set, that included a viola, a baritone ukulele, a lap steel, a harp, and a grand piano. His heartfelt break-up songs kept the audience captivated and excited until the end, even with the occasional instrument mishap and forgotten lyric.
