Some people went to regular church on Sunday. Other people went to St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bushwick, Brooklyn on Sunday, and got an exclusive rock show filled with fog, dancing, and an apocalyptic narrative. Folks at the latter probably weren’t saved, but they definitely had a much cooler time.
It was the site of our taping of New York crew The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, who performed the exclusive apocalypse track “Until the Sun Explodes” in front of a live audience for an upcoming MTV Iggy series, Artists to Watch. Flip through some of the initial photos of the event, and of our Artists to Watch host Anthony Hall. Stay tuned for more.
