SXSW may be old hat to Mexican punk rockers Vicente Gayo, but their experimental rock and 80s electronic fusion is as fresh and bizarre as ever.

Vicente Gayo himself doesn’t exist. It’s a band of dudes with a penchant for loud, old school chaos. They released their self-titled debut two years ago and they played SXSW 2010, but they still draw a large and very curious crowd from Mexico and abroad.

The  guys of Vicente headbanged their way through their lawless set at Habana Bar Backyard at SXSW. See the evidence below!
