Iggy Exclusive! Our Laptop Photo Booth Music Video for Chloé Wang's "Every Day In Between"

We’re super excited to premiere our video for Chloé Wang’s “Every Day In Between.” We’ve done a bunch of stuff with her before, and when she came into our MTV Iggy studios we knew we had to do something special. If you saw our teaser behind-the-scenes slideshow you might have an idea about what we were working on: Chloé showed us some videos where her and her friend goofed around in front of her laptop, and used its Photo Booth filters to come up with characters, be silly, etc.

For our video we wanted to take it one step further and do a whole performance around it. Following the popularity of lip dubs (just a fancy way of saying lip-sync), we played around with different looks for our video:

Also, we there was a lot of goofing around on camera — Chloé made up a bunch of characters on the spot which we thought were super funny, so we cut a bonus behind-the-scenes/blooper reel:

We hope you guys like the video, and encourage you to do your own versions if you have the wherewithal (ie-an Apple computer). We heart Chloé and want to see her go far.

Many Asian pop acts have tried crossing over to the US (BoA, Utada Hikaru, Coco Lee, etc), some with more success than others. But when it comes to the reverse, artists like Wang Leehom and Jin have done pretty well for themselves abroad. So is China ready for Chloé to take over their airwaves and youku, to start appearing on game shows and billboards? We certainly hope so.
