Portuguese ambient savants :Papercutz popped up on our radar in 2011and we’ve been waiting to hear more since then, so we’re happy to report we just picked up on new a signal — or should we say single. “Rivers” from upcoming sophomore album The Blur Between Us features a steady industrial beat under a synthed-out melody with a decidedly pre-industrial vibe.

There’s an ecstatic quality that aligns with the electronic tribalism of Pictureplane and Zola Jesus. Well, we’re ecstatic anyway. Bring on the new album!
