In 2011, MTV Iggy set out to find the top pop acts in the world. And on December 12, we presented the finalists in one of the biggest concert events of the year. MTV Iggy’s Best New Bands Concert packed the Best Buy Theater and MTV Studios in Times Square with rabid fans, celebrities, and the hottest bands from every corner of the globe.

Up first was our favorite paint-splattered foursome, La Vida Boheme. These guys flew all the way from Caracas, Venezuela to wail on the mic and deliver a message of punk rock solidarity.
