Forget Portland, Oregon’s reputation for churning out grubby hippies. Hockey may look the part but they write clean, simple synth-backed pop songs that recall the clean lines of the Strokes. They consist of Ben Grubin (vocals), Brian White (guitar), Jeremy Reynolds (bass) and Anthony Stassi (drums).
