“Niji,” which means “rainbow” in Japanese, was L’Arc~en~Ciel’s first release with the band’s current lineup – the debut of yukihiro – and is one of their most loved songs, traditionally saved to close out the band’s epic live shows. Over a decade later, in the midst of their 20th anniversary tour, lead vocalist hyde, bassist tetsuya, guitarist ken, and drummer yukihiro (now all in their early 40s) perform this 1997 hit single just as passionately as they always have.
